I am currently pursuing dual degrees in Magazine Journalism and Anthropology, with a minor in art, at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I’d like to work for National Geographic. I’d also like to see a jackalope.

I enjoyed your story entiteld “California Island” printed in the Spring 2010 edition of Epic. I read the first half while waiting in the MU Admissions Office for an appointment. However, I could not finish because the residency officer came to get me. So, not having a copy of Epic, I later returned to the Admissions Office just to finish the story. Nicely done.
